Program moves an array of projects and investments at ArcelorMittal Tubarão. Notwithstanding, the change of culture is much
broader and involves a variety of factors. One of the is the sense of belonging
growing in each employee and awakening several spontaneous movements focusing
on sustainability.
When the
culture is truly embedded in the routine, the changes take place naturally.
That’s what happened in the Ironmaking Production Management Area, which
mobilized to restore the walls around the Blast Furnace 1 loading area. The
challenge counted on the support of Dikma, a partner company, which embraced
the idea and carried out the painting job.
The new
appearance of the area expresses the employees’ engagement and leading role as
well as the support to the environmental commitments. The action is also in
line with the Sustainability Agents project, which aims at raising
environmental awareness.
