Logistics: actions that strengthen the environmental management care
Two years ago, in September, ArcelorMittal Tubarão signed the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA).
The company announced the main actions that pushed the advancements, especially the points related to the Evoluir Program.
Talking about evolution also means to recognize the essential support of all teams. Logistics is one of the areas contributing to a change of mindset and coordinating more sustainable initiatives. Essential to commercial relations to ensure quality, safety and timely storage, shipping and delivery of products, the area has been a strategic ally for the management area.

The actions of the Logistics Area happen in three fronts and preform an essential role in the elimination of particle resuspension. Among the activities, let’s highlight the optimization/reduction of storage areas, the paving of specific areas and the guarantee of proper water spraying and sweeping.
