One more yard road paved at Tubarão
Slabs 4 and Coils BQ6 Yards are areas that comprise the ArcelorMittal Tubarão Paving Strategic Plan, an environment management initiative to minimize particle emission.
Due to the wide extension of the area comprising both yards, the paving is to be carried out in four stages. The first stage has been recently concluded with the paving of the access road to the yards, a stretch that carries intensive traffic of vehicles, machines, and equipment.
The conclusion of this stage represents a considerable advancement towards the compliance with the Environment Commitment Agreement (TCA), signed between the company and the state government environmental agencies.
Once again, ArcelorMittal Tubarão reinforces that all actions taken by the company are strictly in compliance with established safety measures, particularly in this Covid-19 pandemic period.
