Recognition: a way to value Evolution

The dedication and commitment of everyone at ArcelorMittal Tubarão has made a difference in the Evoluir Program, whose actions include the compliance with the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA). This joint effort results in meeting the targets and guidelines established in the agreement.

For such, the company has invested in projects, training courses, workshops and other actions. One of them is the recognition of those who have an outstanding performance in their work routine through conscious and proactive environmental-related actions. The outstanding performance is chosen based on the Evoluir Program Managers and Coordinators’ assessment taking into consideration criteria such as change of mindset, engagement, criticality of the problem, impact on the program and number of suggestions.

By the end of March over 66 people will be recognized for the important actions they have fomented throughout the second half of 2019. This recognition takes place twice a year in the company, and aims to value professional dedication as well as promote sustainable ideas related to the compliance with the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA) and in line with the Evoluir Program.
