TCA actions presented to the State Government
Continuing the company’s accountability agenda regarding the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA), on July 16th the company presented the most recent advancements to the State Government.
The actions are part of ArcelorMittal responsibility towards keeping an open and transparent dialogue with the population.The meeting included the participation of the Operations Vice-President, Erick Torres, members of the follow-up committee, State Public Ministry representatives, and the State Governor, Renato Casagrande.
The TCA General Implementation Coordinator, Jorge Bittencourt, presented the report of the actions implemented over the past months and reinforced the engagement with environmental actions.
Even in face of Covid-19 pandemic, the company has continued activities using enhanced protocols to preserve health and safety. The advancements in TCA management are the result of the efforts of the leadership and the dedicated and integrated work of the teams at Tubarão.
