Tubarão organizes a Special Gemba to strengthen environmental actions
A special edition of the Gemba Walking was carried out on January 28th at ArcelorMittal Tubarão by the leadership and employees.
The initiative is part of a company campaign to highlight the importance of the Environmental Commitment Agreement (TCA) Guideline 2, which provides for issues related to good production practices including housekeeping actions that need to be incorporated into daily routines.
The Gemba is a type of inspection that is part of the company day-to-day routine, which has been implemented to identify deviations and room for improvement. Besides that, it is a fundamental tool to measure the efficacy of the Evoluir Program actions and to evaluate the work environment housekeeping.
The reinforcement and awareness campaign will continue in the following months. The special Gembas will be related to other subjects relevant to the success of the Evoluir Program.
