Wind fence: works authorized at Tubarão
ArcelorMittal Tubarão has advanced one more stage in the implementation of wind fences at the Coal and Ore yards.
The teams
involved in the project have already started installing the first fence posts.
Each yard
will receive over 44 thousand square meters of fences, reinforcing the
environmental measures. When the project is completed, the company will also
have complied with Environmental Agreement Targets 22 and 30, which refer to
aspects related to controlling the action of the wind in the storage yards.
It is
worth highlighting that all the works and actions taking place inside the plant
comply with all Health and Safety guidelines, including measures to combat and
prevent Covid-19 transmission.
