HAPPENING AT EVOLUIR – Communities visit the company
Neighbouring communities visited on Saturday, August 31, ArcelorMittal Tubarão premises to learn about the work developed in the Evoluir Program to comply with the Environmental Commitment Agreement targets and guidelines.
Over 70 people, including Community leaders from Cidade Continental (Asia and Africa sectors) and Praia de Carapebus were received by the company institutional relations team and the Sustainability and Environment Manager, Bernardo Enne Correa da Silva, who presented the summary of what has been carried out, the program governance structure and the communication tools.
One of the presentation highlights was the ArcelorMittal Evoluir App launched on August 14, which will soon be available to schedule visits. The aim is to make the access to the company easier, bringing more transparency and dialogue towards the population.
The visitors also watched a presentation of the Metodoarte Capoeira Group which includes people from the Project developed in the Africa Sector in Cidade Continental.
The visit was part of the dialogue the company has been developing with the communities to get closer to the stakeholders.
