Hypsometer to measure material piles
ArcelorMittal Tubarão now counts on another ally to assist on the actions related to the Environmental Commitment Agreement.
It is an instrument with a North American technology called hypsometer, which is being used to measure the height of co-product piles. This device has been in use for two months and it is supporting the pile formation operational control in relation to the height of the green belt. It is another action implemented to mitigate possible wind dragging of pile material.
