The Evoluir Program marks a new environmental awareness in the production processes and, of course, this depends on everyone’s actions and commitments. Seeking to align the different areas, periodic training courses are held with the teams reinforcing everyone’s active role in environmental control evolution. This way, a training on Environmental Management was provided to Steel Shop employees, focusing on actions that minimize emissions. An event called Reinforcement and Sensibilization regarding Environmental Requirements was carried out in partnership with the company Colnorte aiming to highlight the positive impacts of complying with the best practices forecast in the Environmental Commitment Agreement. Being on par with the operating and maintenance teams increases process sustainability and contributes to the alignment with Environmental Agreement Guideline #2, which includes the need to “conduct qualification and training courses for unit employees, so that the actions connected to production good practices, including work areas housekeeping activities are incorporated to everyone’s day-to-day routine”.
