Target 17: adjustment of pile height
Target 17 of the agreement – which makes provisions on Coal Yard piles and requires adjustment on the height of material fall, limiting it to a maximum of 0.5m whenever possible – was officially concluded.
Transport/transfer, loading and unloading operations of powdered material in the Coal Yard have been adjusted to prevent particulate matter emission. Standard Operating procedure PO-PRO-COQ-01-0002 was reviewed minimizing material fall height during piling. The use of canvas covered truck beds is mandatory, for either loading or unloading, and even during movements inside the company only.
