HAPPENING AT EVOLUIR – Visit of the Brazilian Bar Association – ES Chapter
ArcelorMittal Tubarão received on August 15, the visit of the Brazilian Bar Association – ES Chapter – Environmental Law and Corporate Law Committees.
The group watched a presentation on the Evoluir Program and learned more about the program governance and latest News, as the launching of the App on August 14 in an event which took place at the State Public Ministry.
They also saw the follow up of the targets and guidelines focusing mainly on the investments set aside for the installation of Wind Fences in the coal and ore yards, the building of new wheel washers (complementing the ones already in operation), as well as improvement projects in the coke plant area, enclosure of belt conveyors and the spraying plan for the roads.
The highlight was the panoramic view of the operational area focusing on the places where the investments will take place. The group got to see up and close the works for the enclosure of belt conveyors C56-01/02 (conveyors used to receive the coal from Praia Mole) over the sea water return channel.
