Enclosure of transfer towers and belt conveyors
An additional step in the Belt Conveyor Strategic Plan investments is the enclosure of Transfer Towers and Belt Conveyors.
This is another ArcelorMittal Tubarão initiative to expand fugitive emissions control during raw material transportation. In order to ensure that expected results are achieved approximately 50 thousand square meters of roof tiles and covers will be installed. The work is already in progress following all enhanced health and safety protocols and guidelines in use during the pandemic.
