App makes the odour perception network more precise

The app launched on Saturday (9) is going to contribute to the work of volunteers who are part of ArcelorMittal Tubarão Odour Perception Network (RPO).

The Odour App is going to help volunteers recording possible odours in the surrounding neighbourhood, guiding actions and control strategies.
ArcelorMittal Tubarão POR comprises 29 volunteer workers who live on the neighbouring area. Launched this past June, the network is coordinates by the State of Espirito Santo Federal University (UFES). The Odour App is going to contribute to make easier the recording of volunteers’ perception as making analysis more precise and faster.

The launching of the app counted on the participation of volunteers who are part of the RPO, UFES representatives, community leaders and ArcelorMittal Tubarão representatives. Additionally, it presented the Suzano’s case of success, which has carried out a similar action for several years, also including the participation of the community.
