Largest steel producer in Brazil and one of the largest producers in the mining segment in the world, the ArcelorMittal Group is present in over 160 countries, in 19 of them with industrial operations, and over 190,000 employees. ArcelorMittal Brazil is the largest steel producer in the country, with an installed capacity of over 12.5 million tonnes/year. With industrial plants in six states, the company employs about 17,000 people and produces high-quality long and flat carbon steels for the automotive, household appliances, packaging, construction and shipbuilding industries. It is also a player in mining, power generation, renewable bioreducer production and information technology sectors. Its extensive distribution and service network meets the demands for the domestic and international markets.

We are the largest Long Carbon producer in Brazil. With industrial operations in five Brazilian states (Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo) and commercial operations throughout the country through the Distribution Network, we offer the market products and solutions for the Construction, Industry and Agribusiness segments. In partnership with the Bekaert Group, we are also Brazil's leading wire supplier for industry and agribusiness and we are among the top three producers of steel cords for tire reinforcement.

ArcelorMittal Brazil’s Flat Carbon segment produces around 10.5 million tonnes of steel - including slabs, hot rolled and cold rolled coils – sold in Brazil and in more than 30 countries.

With production units in the states of Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina, it also has processing and distribution units in the states of Minas Gerais, Paraná and São Paulo. ArcelorMittal Brazil is responsible for the exclusive production of special steels, such as Usibor, for the automotive sector, and has a consolidated supplier position serving sectors as demanding as construction, shipbuilding, household appliances and infrastructure.

ArcelorMittal Brazil's Mining segment, in charge of the results of two mines in Brazil, both in Minas Gerais state, has an annual production capacity of 6.6 million tonnes of sinter feed and concentrate and 500,000 tonnes of lump ore.

As for reserves, their potential includes about 480 million tonnes of ore, both sites showing relevant differences in terms of shipping logistics.

Headquartered in Belo Horizonte (MG), ArcelorMittal Sistemas promotes innovative, high-quality and operationally stable IT and Telecom solutions for ArcelorMittal Group’s units in South, Central and North Americas, in addition to hosting SAP environments of its units in Liberia, USA and Canada.

Its main differential is the proximity to customers, which allows ArcelorMittal Sistemas to offer solutions in line with the company's strategy, thus effectively contributing to the business. The positive results put ArcelorMittal Sistemas in the position of Global Center of Excellence for the ArcelorMittal Group.
