The Environmental Management of ArcelorMittal Brazil’s Long Carbon segment is in line with the Group’s values and follows the proposals of its 10 Sustainable Development Outcomes. This management operates directly in the following units:
- Mato Grosso do Sul – a rolling unit (Três Lagoas);
- Minas Gerais – two integrated process units (João Monlevade and Juiz de Fora), a wire drawing unit (Sabará);
- Rio de Janeiro – two semi-integrated units (Barra Mansa and Resende);
- São Paulo – a wire drawing unit (São Paulo city) and a semi-integrated unit (Piracicaba).
This performance also covers units in other business segments, such as Andrade Mine (MG) and ArcelorMittal BioFlorestas, the latter with locations where Eucalyptus and Charcoal are produced.
