The Long Carbon production plants are certified to ABNT Environmental Label. This certification, called Ecolabel, is based on the ABNT NBR ISO 14024 standard and includes the assessment of the products' life cycle.
The Ecolabel for Steel Products certifies that ArcelorMittal Brazil’s processes actively seek to reduce energy and material consumption, and to minimize the impacts caused during production. Keeping the Label also represents a competitive differential directly associated with sustainability.
